The regional agricultural comprehensive administrative law enforcement team is vigorously cracking down on the management of agricultural mulching film.

Altaic News Network – Altay Regional Integrated Media Center (Reporter: Yang Weixuan) From April 7th to 10th, and April 15th to 17th, the regional agricultural comprehensive administrative law enforcement team successively carried out special law enforcement inspections on the recycling of waste agricultural mulching film in Altay City, Burqin County, Habahe County, Jimunai County, and Fuhai County. The aim is to prevent and control non-point source pollution caused by agricultural mulching film and ensure that all residual film in the farmland is collected.

During the inspections, law enforcement officers conducted on-site surveys to inspect the waste mulching film left in the fields and along transportation routes. They promptly provided rectification opinions to land contractors for any improper or unscientific use of mulching film found, and also promoted laws and regulations such as the Soil Pollution Law of the People’s Republic of China and the Regulations on the Management of Farmland Mulching Film in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region to farmers.
